The live oak is Georgia's state tree. In Savannah, it's the city itself — arching over Forsyth, anchoring every square, keeping three hundred years of weather and grief and Sunday afternoons in its limbs. We drew this one the way naturalists once drew specimens: by hand, with patience, every branch and leaf earned.
